- They have phone customer support
- Its a publicly traded company
- Good low spreads on certain pairs
- Mt4 and Mt5 compatible, which allows the use of EA’s

CONS
- Only 50:1 max leverage for US customers (example $20K needed to open one 10 lot trade) vs a 500:1 leverage broker you would only need $2k to open one 10 lot trade.
- No hedging meaning you cannot open a buy trade and a sell trade on the same pair at any time.
- You always have to close the first position opened first
- You cannot set different Take Profit or Stop Loss levels on each leverage trade. (Example if you have 3 GBP/USD trades open you have to use the same TP and SL levels for all three. This really sucks for swing traders.

My personal opinion is that IG is a great and safe broker and I use them because my EA’s trading system works well with it and because I feel that my funds are safer, but for my personal manual swing trading I have to use another broker.

Today we will consider LIST OF SCAM BROKERS 2022 - IDENTIFY AND AVOID!
Unfortunately, fraud exists in any commercial sphere, and the Forex market is no exception. But the good news is this is no longer the trend but is rather on the decline.

Blacklists of FOREX SCAM BROKERS mainly include three types:

1. FLY-BY-NIGHT BROKERS
The idea is that a group of people (or even one person) creates a site. Often it is just a landing page that urges the public to invest and earn lots of money. This may also include PAMM accounts. As a result, they collect deposits from traders and close the site, sometimes they declare a preplanned bankruptcy, and sometimes they don’t make any announcements at all.

2. FOREX BUCKET SHOPS This type of scam is more refined and requires more careful preparation, but the potential profit of the scammer is also higher. In this case, they create a full-fledged platform that duplicates the functionality of leading Forex brokers. The trader does not play on the world interbank market, but with other traders registered only on their fraudulent site, or even with the platform itself.

3. PYRAMID SCHEMES Perhaps this is the most famous type of scam that is used everywhere, not only in the foreign exchange market. This type of scam is not about Forex brokers at all. It is about the company positioning itself as a broker but, in fact, it only collects deposits from traders, often without even faking activity on the interbank market.

Today, blacklists of FOREX SCAM BROKERS are kept current and regularly published by Internet users. Our portal is no exception. We have been collecting data about scam brokers for more than 10 years and we think we know every dishonest company in the market.

All of the top Forex brokers for US traders are regulated in the United States. The main regulatory bodies are the National Futures Association (NFA) and the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC).

Use a relatively small sum of money to test how easy it is to deposit and withdraw funds from your Forex account before you make a large investment. You should also check out each broker in the NFA's Background Affiliation Status Information Center (BASIC) by using their NFA ID. A BASIC check can prevent complications.

If you can't find a broker that you're interested in on the BASIC system by using their firm's name, an individual name, or another identifier, you should avoid doing business with them. Even an introducing broker should be registered on BASIC if they're legitimate, so if they're not there, that's a bad sign.
